I tried to be Switzerland for this story. Will she let her dreams slip away to seek retribution and find the missing pieces to a puzzle that existed a lifetime ago? He slayed me with his words. Amy: Still hungover from Transcend and Epoch. But damn the journey was truly heartbreaking. One thing was for sure — he loved sex and especially receiving blowjobs. Why oh why oh why was this author torturing me so? Without a single word, I feel his love.
Albright was a wonderful addition to the story. I cried every time they cried, my heart ached as theirs did. If someone were to ask Jasmine Santos to describe the last few years of her life with a single word, it would definitely be a four-letter one. This duet is too amazing to spoil for anyone that plans to read it. This book picked up right where book 1 left off with Swayze's life increasingly complicated by her desire for a closure. Their happiness is our happiness. Haunting and stirring, the Transcend Duet has already earned a spot on my 2018 Favorites list.
I hope I read Jewel E. Swayze thinks Doug Mann killed some girl named Morgan Daisy Gallagher. Transcend was easily a 5-star read for me, so Epoch had huge shoes to fill. Her storytelling is brave and captivating. I want all of the swoons… yes, but I also want all of the stress and trepidation and potential heartache, believable break-ups and make-ups and oh boy did I get it!!!! I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt by the end of the book my emotional and mental state would be all over the map. I mean, this is a triangle, but it's very different than any I have ever read.
This book will test all your emotions to the limit, I was simply blown away by each and every character and I loved them all, but one person stole my heart for good. Ann plays with us a little bit but how can you not love all that angst! This book is simply more — more complicated, more impassioned, and more believable. I need a novella for this duet. What was the purpose of this scenes? How she wanted to sleep with Nate. To a present with its claws curled into my heart.
At one point in this story I had to put my kindle down and walk away - I seriously could not deal with what I was reading and the feelings that over took me. It consumed my mind and heart and i was even dreaming of Griffin and Nate in my dreams. Around and around it goes, until in the process she loses sight of the bigger picture, she loses little pieces of herself. Is this… Is this a freaking love triangle? And when they die…part of us dies too. Stella Lane thinks math is the only thing that unites the universe. Expectations are high when the first book is well received.
I can't even begin to describe my love for this story and these characters. As I got closer to the final page I just kept wishing for it to continue. Her books refuse to be contained in tidy, predictable boxes. I will be going straight into the next one. I think what I loved the most about this story is that it was so unpredictable. I called that one correctly. And the Epilogue is just perfect. We first meet eleven year old Swayze who knows stuff that is unexplainable and was wise beyond her years, she has many reconnections of historical events, random things that happened way before her time and specifically in the Wisconsin area. She doesn't have a brain tumor.

This continues right after the first book ended with Swayze struggling with some of her new findings she's had about herself. I love that feeling and this book is magical. I know many other writers have tried the same topic but none stands out in my mind.

The tempo in this book allows the reader time to savor a deeper connection with Swayze, Griffin, and Nate, while also conveying a sense of urgency and foreboding. This duet was definitely different! The conclusion releases in two weeks. Then I got furious when they acted stupidly. Griffin - if there was ever a more perfect book boyfriend, I don't know who it could be. It picks up where the first book left off with the murder of her friend and a connection to a cold case death which had us all reeling from the possibilities. I loved every word that I read.
